In 2015, migrants from nearly every country resided in France. Countries with at least 99,500 migrant residents include the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, Madagascar, China, and Vietnam. Between 74,600 and 99,500 migrant residents came from Switzerland, Serbia, Romania, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Between 49,800 and 74,600 migrant residents came from the United States, Haiti, Brazil, Republic of the Congo, Russia, and Cambodia. Between 24,900 and 49,800 migrant residents came from Canada, Colombia, Netherlands, Monaco, Lebanon, Egypt, Guinea, Comoros, Mauritius, India, Sri Lanka, and Laos. Migrant residents came from the remaining countries of the world, with fewer than 24,900 migrants coming from each of these countries.
