In 2015, persons from several countries resided in China. South Korea and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Unit each had more than 153,000 migrant residents. Brazil and the Philippines had between 4,600 and 78,000 migrant residents. Countries with between 2,960 and 40,600 were Canada, the United States, Peru, Russia, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Australia, and the Macau Special Administrative Region.
