In 2015, migrants from nearly every country resided in the United Kingdom. Countries with at least 136,000 migrant residents include the United States, Jamaica, Ireland, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Philippines, and Australia. Between 102,000 and 136,000 migrant residents came from Lithuania, Ghana, Somalia, Zimbabwe, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Between 67,900 and 102,000 migrant residents came from Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Cyprus, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Malaysia. Between 24,900 and 49,800 migrant residents came from Brazil, Sweden, Latvia, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius, Nepal, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and New Zealand. Migrant residents came from the remaining countries of the world, with fewer than 33,900 migrants coming from each of these countries.
