High-Pressure Zones are found in Western North America (1,022 millibars), Northwest Africa (1,024 millibars), North-central Asia (1,044 millibars), Southeast Pacific (1,018 millibars), South Atlantic (1,022 millibars), South Indian Ocean (1,022 millibars)

Low-Pressure Zones are found in North Pacific near the Aleutian Islands (984 millibars), North Atlantic near Greenland and Iceland (992 millibars), along the equator in the Central Pacific Ocean, Central Africa, and Western Pacific Ocean, and around the coasts of Antarctica (three lows at 980 millibars).
