Continental shelves and upper slopes, shaded in yellow, are found between negative 201 to negative 2,000 meters. Mid-ocean depths, including parts of the abyssal plains, range from negative 2,000 to negative 3,000 meters and are shaded in orange. Deeper ocean areas, extending further into the abyssal plains, range from negative 3,000 to negative 4,000 meters in dark orange. Deep ocean regions, covering significant portions of the ocean floor, range from negative 4,000 to negative 5,000 meters in dark brown.
