Cold fronts occur in several areas on the weather map, in the Pacific Ocean off British Columbia; beginning in southern Utah and running northeast across the Great Plains into Canada almost as far as Hudson Bay; and in the eastern Gulf of Mexico, extending northeastward across Florida toward the hurricane just off shore.
