A map illustrates global tropical cyclone zones, indicating areas where tropical typhoons, cyclones, and hurricanes form.

Areas shaded in blue represent tropical cyclone zones, predominantly found over parts of the tropical or subtropical Atlantic, Indian, western Pacific, and eastern Pacific oceans. These storms form in specific regions:

Atlantic Ocean: Including the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea, and extending towards the eastern United States and parts of Central America.

Indian Ocean: Covering areas around the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

Western Pacific Ocean: Extending from the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia to the eastern coasts of China and Japan.

Eastern Pacific Ocean: Including the coastal regions of Mexico and parts of Central America.

Southern Hemisphere: Affecting regions around Madagascar, parts of Australia, the South Pacific islands (Fiji, Samoa), and the eastern coasts of Africa.
