Regions with significant water usage, ranging from 500,000 to 5,000,000 gallons, are shown in medium blue and are primarily located in the western United States, including states like California, Nevada, and Arizona; Nye, Elko, Lincoln, Idaho, Chaves, Custor, Okanogon, Lassen, and Imperial.
